DESCRIPTION:The Church in Eastern Europe at one time had all worship inLatin. Even the passion play and Mary’s Sorrow was in a language that the people did not understand. One parish in Poland decided to convert these into Polish and sang them so all could understand. This tradition grew and found its way into many churches and languages. We continue this tradition here every Sunday during Lent. The songs are sung in Polish\, but English words for translation are provided. All are welcome to join in this beautiful continuation of a way to reflect on the passion of Christ and of Mary’s Sorrow.
